The Five Paths

Yoga is for everyone.

There is no perfect yogi. You don't need to outflex, outstrength, outbalance, or outfocus anyone.  You just need to be. Everyone can start a journey to mindfulness, once they choose a path.

Please note: all Group Services are held at Twin Ponds Integrative Health Center,

628 Twin Ponds Road, Breinigsville, PA 18031.

Together let's create a world full of imagination, possibility, empowerment, stillness, and joy.

You'll be showered with hugs after this class.

Let's gain control of our lives and develop a newfound appreciation for health - physically and emotionally.

You can’t change the direction of the wind but you can adjust your sails to reach the right destination.

Ever-evolving classes about various lifestyle topics.

Meet Karen

What is Yoga Therapy?  What does a Yoga Therapist do?

Yoga therapy is a holistic healing art that uses classical yogic practices to deepen presence and awareness.  From that awareness we come to know ourselves more fully and

we’re more easily moved to embrace change, growth, and enhanced well-being

in body, feelings, mind, and spirit.

The Yoga Therapist empowers individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of yoga.

I enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities, in group classes and individually.

I lead classes in hatha, yin, chair, restorative yoga as well as yoga nidra.

Specialties include stress and anxiety, restful sleep, fall prevention,

chronic pain and cancer recovery.

Along with studio classes, I teach 2 to 6 year-olds at an inclusive school for children with all abilities in the Lehigh Valley area. Conditions range from sensory processing disorders to autism and ADHD.

Get To Know Karen

My path began years ago in the Himalayan Mountains.

It was the immense power of nature, balanced with a gentle solitude, that organically supported me while developing a form of mindfulness known as beginner’s mind: fresh, open and free from habit.  I practiced "staying in the moment" while trekking over remote and irregular trails.  Over time I developed a consistent Ashtanga yoga practice and became a certified yoga teacher.

It has been my lens to see more clearly within.

I've learned so much from each and every student. The Comprehensive Yoga Therapist certification with the IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists) has prepared me

to work one-on-one with clients for their individual needs.

Yoga is for everyone.

I was “that” kid, always on the move and touching everything in sight. You wouldn't peg me as a "yoga poster child". But that didn't matter. And it still doesn't matter today. There is no perfect yogi. You don't need to outflex, outstrength, outbalance, or outfocus anyone.  You just need to be. Everyone can start a journey to mindfulness, once they choose a path.

Angela Corrado, yoga enthusiast

"My little lady has been attending Family yoga with "Miss Karen" for over year and is quite possibly Karen's biggest fan! She's teaching her friends different yoga poses and on Saturdays when there is no class my daughter gets out her yoga mat and conducts the class herself...at the end she always says "Yamaste Miss Karen"...thank you so much Karen,  we love having you as part of our journey!

"Karen joined Lehigh Children's Academy as a yoga instructor for young children in 2013 -- developing fun exercises to build mindfulness and strategies to relieve stress. The children look forward to her visits!   The outcomes are significant,  translating to the classroom as children integrate what they learn into their day to day life at the center and at home. Dedicated to helping children find a way to build strength and relax, Karen's efforts at LCA has forwarded our thinking about early education: the children, parents, and LCA staff are grateful for her talent and dedication to connecting early education with physical wellbeing.  Karen's holistic  approach has long term benefits for the children who participate; her creative yoga classes enhance the compressive early child care and education experience LCA seeks to provide."
